The Best Place to Post Your Ad!
Finding the right place to post your ad can be a real hassle. After
all, you want your ad to be seen by as many people as possible!
Of course the ideal scenario would be to have your ad in front of
thousands of people that are interested in what you sell. Right?
You ask, "How do I do this?" It is actually very simple and many
folks just don't take advantage of this highly effective form of
advertising!
The best place to place your ad is in newsletters or ezines!
The reason for this is the readers of each newsletter or ezine are
the perfect target market! Newsletters offer advertisers a rich
place for advertising, giving advertisers two very unique benefits.
The benefits!
The first is the subscribers have the topic of the newsletter in
common. This is very important since you are selling a product or
service specific to this common interest. For instance: Subscribers
to a gardening newsletter are interested in gardening.
The second benefit is since these people subscribe to their
newsletter because they WANT to, they will be more open to the
advertisements in the newsletter. Usually newsletters get read
from top to bottom, making the odds of your ad being read far greater.
Usually when someone sits down to read their newsletter they have
a little time on their hands. So as they peruse through the
newsletter, they will read right to your ad!
Targeted Market
If you advertise in a newsletter that relates to what you sell, this
is targeted advertising.
For example: Let's say you have a site that sells bird supplies. You
offer many types of bird feeders, birdhouses and different types of
birdseed at discount prices. An excellent ezine or newsletter to
advertise in would be one called something like "Birdwatcher's Weekly".
This would be the perfect target market! The readers are already
qualified! By qualified I mean they have what it takes to be your
customer! They love birds, enjoy watching them and are interested
in learning about them. What do bird watchers need to draw birds
into view? Birdfeeders and birdseed!
You would not benefit from advertising your bird supplies in an
auto mechanics newsletter. There may be some mechanics that watch
birds but on the average not many.
Of course there are other places to find customers for bird feeders,
houses and seed. For instance: A newsletter called "Farm and Country"
would possibly offer a reasonably targeted market for you. Their
subscribers would more likely be "out-door" type people and probably
would enjoy a nice bird feeder and some seed.
Other markets may be newsletters relating to pets, animal lovers,
pet supplies, wildlife, birds, hobby, farm and garden etc. The list
could go on and on. See how you could endlessly advertise in ezines
and get results?
Think about what types of people would be interested in your product
or service. Find newsletters that would have your type of customer
as subscribers and advertise! The options are endless!
Search tip! To save you hours of time, using an ezine directory would
be the answer to a quick search to find the ezines you're looking for!
